Welcome to the Canadian Section of the SHAPE International School (SIS). 

We are located in Casteau, Belgium on the NATO base of the Supreme Headquarter Allied Powers, Europe (SHAPE).

Our little school provides a high quality education in a caring, international environment for children aged 6 to 13 (grades 1 – 8). We offer programs to English and French students. There are over 70 students students in our school. Our students come from Canada, the United States, Britain, Spain, Italy, Australia and several other nations

In our school, the Big Five forms our common language. These are five big things we can each do daily to make ourselves strong students and our school a vibrant and caring learning community:

In our classrooms, our dedicated and experienced staff teaches the Ontario Curriculum in both of Canada’s national languages.  Our approach to education highlights our goal for every student to build problem solving and critical thinking skills. Throughout the school year, we work to connect students with our local community as well as with other schools and nations on the SHAPE International School campus.
