Welcome to the Canadian Section of the SHAPE International School (SIS).

We are located in Casteau Belgium on the NATO base of the Supreme Headquarter Allied Powers, Europe (SHAPE)

Our Little School Provides a high quality of education in a caring, international environment for children aged 6 to 13 (Grades 1-8). We offer programs in English and French. There are over 70 students in our school. We are truly an
International school. Our students come from many nations including Canada, The United States, Britain, Spain, Italy, Greece, Finland, Germany and Turkey.

In our school, the Big Five forms our common language. These are five big things we can each do daily to make ourselves strong students and our school a vibrant and caring learning community

In our classrooms, our dedicated and experienced staff teach the Ontario Curriculum in both Canada’s national languages. Our approach to education highlights our goal for every student to build problem solving and critical thinking
skills. Throughout the school year, we work to connect students with our local community as well as other schools and nations on the SHAPE International campus.
